Weathered Plank Wall DIY
Weathered Plank Wall DIY- add rustic charm to any room with this simple DIY!
Here’s a little DIY project I finished recently that made a big impact! I wanted something that was weathered and coastal to add interest to the big wall behind my bed. As soon as I saw these White Wash Weathered Hardwood Boards I bought them. The weathered finish looked great in the pics online and the reviews were positive, so I was optimistic that I would like them. When the boards arrived I ripped the box open and was thrilled that they look even better in person than they do online. The color variations are beautiful and some of the boards even include saw marks. There are slight variations with some of the widths, which adds to the rustic appearance.
The installation was really easy and it only took me a weekend. The boards are all the same length, so I cut them (using a circular saw) to give a staggered pattern. I used a jigsaw to cut the boards to fit around the outlets and I hung them all using a nail gun.
I’m excited that my bedroom is shaping up- next project is to replace the flooring!
Thanks for checking out my Weathered Plank Wall DIY!
