Yarn: Bernat Home Decor yarn in Clay (yarn weight #5 bulky, 2 skeins)
Needles: Size US 10 1/2 single point knitting needles
Gauge: 2 inches= 6 sts
Sizes: Small, Medium, Large
For the Front and the Back
Cast on 60 (66, 72 sts). Knit in garter stitch until the piece measures 20 (21, 22) inches, ending on a wrong side row.
Knit 18 (20, 22) sts and place on a stitch holder. Cast off 24 (26, 28) sts to make the neck. Knit to the end of the row. Continue working in garter stitch until the shoulders measure 2 inches. Bind off.
Join yarn to stitches on a holder and knit in garter stitch until the shoulder measures 2 inches. Bind off.
Sew pieces together at the shoulders. Sew the sides together leaving a 7 1/2 inch opening for the armholes.
