Print out the eye mask template and carefully cut it out along the edges. Hold the paper mask over your eyes to check the fit and make sure the eye openings are positioned comfortably. I found that I needed to adjust the pointed edges at the outer corners of my eyes for a better fit. Once you’re happy with the shape, tape the paper template to a piece of felt to keep it from shifting. If you need to make any additional adjustments, use a pen to draw new lines directly onto the felt. Carefully cut out the felt mask, following the template and any adjustments you’ve made.

Flip the paper template over to create a mirror image for the second side of the mask. Position it on another piece of felt and secure it with tape to prevent it from moving. Check the fit and make any necessary adjustments by drawing new lines with a pen. Carefully cut out the second felt piece, making sure both sides are symmetrical and fit comfortably around your eyes.

Carefully cut out the smaller leaf shapes from the printed template. Position the paper leaves on the felt and secure them with tape to keep them from shifting while you cut. Using sharp scissors, carefully cut around each leaf, following the pointed edges and curves. Next, flip the leaf template over to create a mirror image and repeat the process for the other side of the mask. This will give you matching leaf shapes that fit neatly on both sides of your Poison Ivy eye mask.

Paint the felt mask in your desired shade of green, applying an even coat of paint. Add a second coat if needed for better coverage. Allow the paint to dry completely before applying the mask to your face.

How to Apply the Mask

  1. Apply your eye makeup first, including eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara, before attaching the mask.
  2. Work on one side of the mask at a time to make positioning easier.
  3. Apply a thin layer of skin-safe, latex-free eyelash adhesive to the inner corner and upper edge of the mask. Do not apply glue to the area that will cover your eyebrows. Avoid placing adhesive too close to your eyes.
  4. Wait approximately 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until the adhesive becomes tacky, following the manufacturer’s instructions.
  5. Carefully position the mask on your face and gently press it into place.
  6. Hold the mask in position for approximately 1–2 minutes, or until the adhesive has set. Repeat the process on the other side.

Tip: Test the adhesive on a small area of skin beforehand, and make sure the paint is completely dry and suitable for use near the face. To remove the mask, use an appropriate adhesive remover rather than pulling it off.
