Yarn: Loops & Threads Cozy Wool in Sea Storm (2 skeins)
Needles: Size US 13 single point
Gauge: 8–10 stitches = 4 inches (10 cm)
Size: Little Kid’s one size
You Might Also Like
For the Hood:
(Note- hood is knit flat and then the seam is sewn closed at the top)
Cast on 36 sts.
Pattern:
Work in Stockinette stitch keeping 4 sts at the beginning and the end of every row in knit stitch.
Repeat rows 4 and 5 until piece measures 12 inches. Bind off.
To assemble the hood:
Fold the piece in half longways with the knit stitch borders matching up. Sew the top seam closed.

For the Scarf:
Cast on 16 sts.
Knit 10 rows in Garter Stitch.
Work in Stockinette stitch keeping 4 sts at the beginning and the end of every row in knit stitch until piece measures 37 inches from the cast on edge.
Knit 10 rows in Garter Stitch. Bind off.
Finishing:
Fold scarf in half to find the middle. Line the back seam of the hood up with the middle of the scarf. Sew the hood to the scarf. Weave in ends.
Fold up the garter stitch ends and sew in place to make pockets.
Make and attach pom pom.
