Easy Vegan Cauliflower Steaks
Easy Vegan Cauliflower Steaks- serve cauliflower as a main dish with this healthy and tasty recipe!
Don’t let the name fool you. These cauliflower steaks taste nothing like the real thing! They are, however, perfectly season and absolutely delicious!
Cauliflower is usually prepared by cutting off the florets. Slicing large slabs or “steaks” is a great way to transform cauliflower into a main dish.
Cauliflower is low in calories and high in vitamins. It’s nutrient-dense and high in fiber. Cauliflower is also a great source of antioxidants. It’s easy to add to your diet because it can be prepared so many different ways (eaten raw with hummus, roasted, added to soup, etc)!

When shopping for cauliflower, select the largest head you can find. You’ll get 3 steaks with a large cauliflower. To cut the steaks:
Cut the bottom stem (and the leaves) off.
Place the head (stem down) and cut 1/2- 3/4 inch steaks. Make sure the steaks aren’t too thin or they will fall apart. Save the florets for another meal.
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees and line a baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil and sprinkle on garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and salt. Bake for 15 minutes on each side. Serve warm and enjoy!
