Dress up a plain pony for the holidays with this Velvet Hair Bow DIY!
The inspiration for this DIY comes from these pretty Jennifer Behr velvet hair bows that I have been seeing on Instagram and in magazines. They're feminine, festive and they can be worn with everything from jeans to party dresses. The only problem? Their triple-digit price tag! This Velvet Hair Bow DIY can be made in under 15 minutes and you only need some basic hand sewing skills.
I purchased the ribbon for this Velvet Hair Bow DIY from Amazon. I wasn't expecting much because quality velvet ribbon can be expensive, so I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package to find 30 yards (1 yard of each color) of beautiful ribbon! The cut ends don't fray much, it's easy to sew and best of all, it looks a lot more expensive than it actually is!
