DIY Leather Repair & How to Make Leather Appliques
Today I teamed up with MastaPlasta to show you an amazing (and totally easy) way to repair leather. A while back, I caught this tote bag on the edge of a metal table and it made a big tear. I knew it was the perfect candidate to try out MastaPlasta’s First Aid For Leather. In addition to repairing leather, MastaPlasta can also be used to create appliques. I decided to not only repair my bag but to add a geometric design to it as well.
MastaPlasta is easy to cut, so you can trim it down to fit any tear. I decided to go with a geometric design. Let me show you how easy it is to repair leather and create your own appliques using MastaPlasta:
Supplies needed:
MastaPlasta

Sharp scissors

This is what the MastaPlasta looks like- how cute is the packaging? MastaPlasta isn’t just for handbags! You can use it on couches, jackets, car upholstery, etc. It comes in a variety of sizes and colors.
