Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver in Pumpkin, Bright yellow, and Soft White (#4 worsted weight yarn)
Crochet hook size: J
Also needed: fiber fill stuffing, yarn needle
Gauge: not necessary for this project
Pattern instructions:
With the white yarn, chain 2.
Round 1: Work 4 single crochet (sc) in first ch. Place marker in first st for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Round 2: Work 2 sc in each st around– 8sts.
Round 3: Sc in each st around.
Round 4: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st, rep from * around–12sts.
Round 5: Sc in each st around.
Round 6: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 2 sts, rep from *around (16 sts)
Change to the orange yarn.
Round 7: Sc in each st around.
Round 8: *2 sc in next st,sc in each of next 3 sts, rep from*around (20 sts)
Round 9: Sc in each st around.
Round 10: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 4 sts, rep from * around (24 sts)
Round 11: Sc in each st around.
Change to the yellow yarn.
Rounds 12-15: Sc in each st around.
Round 16: *Single crochet decrease, sc in each of the next 2 sts, rep from * around (18 sts)
Begin stuffing the candy corn.
Round 17: *Single crochet decrease, sc in the next sts, rep from * to the last stitch, sc 1 (12 sts)
Round 18: *Single crochet decrease, rep from * around (6 sts)
