Tips for Knitting Plush Toys

If you’re new to toy knitting, these tips can help improve your finished results.

Knit with slightly tighter tension

Tighter stitches help keep stuffing from showing through the fabric.

Stuff gradually

Adding stuffing slowly helps create a smooth, even shape.

Secure seams well

Strong seams help the toy hold its shape.

Use soft stuffing

Polyester fiberfill works well for plush toys.
