How to Knit the King Charles Brocade Stitch

The King Charles Brocade stitch is created by using a series of knits and purls repeated in varying ways that produce a faint diamond design. You can repeat this pattern multiple times for a continuous diamond pattern throughout your project, or knit it only once for texture detail (like at the bottom of a scarf or sweater).
