You can’t have Halloween without ghosts! These little guys are more cute than scary which makes them ideal for kids. They are knit on single point needles with some increases and decreases, making this pattern beginner-friendly.
You can leave these ghosts as-is or add a loop to the top for hanging.
Easy Plush Ghost Knitting Pattern
Yarn: Loops & Threads Charisma in Off White
Needles: Size US 9 single point knitting needles
Also needed: fiber fill, yarn needle, black felt, needle & thread
Finished ghost measures approximately 9 1/2 inches
For the body and head
Cast on 6 sts.
Row 1: Purl
Row 2: kfb every sts (12 sts)
Row 3: Purl
Row 4: * kfb,k1* along (18 sts)
Row 5: Purl
Row 6: *kfb,k2* along (24 sts)
Rows 7-13: Work in stockinette stitch for 7 rows
Row 14: *K2tog, k2* along (18 sts)
Row 15: Purl
Row 16: *K2tog, k1* along (12 sts)
Row 17: Purl
Row 18: *Kfb, k1* along (18 sts)
Rows 19-23: Work in stockinette stitch for 5 rows
Row 24: *K2tog, k1* along (12 sts)
Row 25: Purl
Row 26: *K2tog* along (6 sts)
Row 27: Purl
Row 28: *Kfb* along (12 sts)
Row 29: Purl
Row 30: k2tog, k7, k2tog, k1 (10 sts)

Cut yarn, leaving a long tail.
For the Arms (make 2):
Cast on 8 sts. Work in stockinette stitch until piece measures inches. Cut yarn and pull through remaining stitches. Read below to see how to finish the ghost.
How to Assemble the Plush Ghost
Fold the piece over and sew the side seam. Leave an opening at the bottom so you can stuff the ghost.
Stuff the ghost and sew the seam closed. Weave in ends.
For the arms: Roll up the arm and sew the side seam. Sew on to the ghost. Repeat on other side.
Cut eyes and a mouth out of black felt. Sew on to the face.
