Hurdle Stitch Pillow Knitting Pattern and Video Tutorial
Hurdle Stitch Pillow Knitting Pattern and Video Tutorial- a beginner friendly stitch that’s perfect for home decor projects!
If you’re a beginner knitter, there’s no need to limit yourself to just garter and stockinette stitches! There are plenty of interesting and fun-to-knit stitches that use just knit and purl. One of these stitches is the Hurdle Stitch. The Hurdle Stitch is reversible which means that both sides are the same. It’s great for throws and scarves. It’s also a stitch that works well with jumbo yarn. For this pillow knitting pattern, I used Bernat Maker Big. It’s a tubular yarn (almost like t-shirt yarn) that’s ideal for knitting things like pillows, baskets and area rugs.
This pillow knits up fast thanks to the jumbo yarn and large needles.
I included a video tutorial that shows you how to knit the Hurdle Stitch.
Happy knitting!
