    You can:

Make it as a handmade gift
Turn it into a nursery decoration

Sell finished versions (if your pattern allows)

It’s one of those patterns that people come back to again and again.

    Customization Ideas

This pattern is super easy to customize:

    Change the yarn
Use bulky yarn for a bigger plush or lighter yarn for a smaller version.

    Add details
Embroider whiskers, stripes, or little features.

    Switch colors
Make realistic cats or go playful with bright colors.

    Adjust the face
Safety eyes vs embroidered eyes can completely change the look.

    Common Mistakes to Avoid

Even simple patterns can go wrong if you’re not careful:

    Overstuffing
This can stretch stitches and distort the shape.

    Uneven seaming
Take your time—this is what makes it look polished.

    Loose tension
You want the fabric tight enough to hold stuffing.

    Skipping blocking (optional but helpful)
Light blocking before seaming can improve shape.
