I was skeptical at first—paint on fabric? Really? But Rust-Oleum promised a durable, UV-resistant finish that wouldn’t leave cushions feeling stiff or crunchy. So, I grabbed a few cans and gave it a shot on some sun-bleached outdoor pillows.
✅ Pros: Why I’m a Fan
1. Long-Lasting, Vibrant Color
Once dry, the color was rich and even more vibrant than I expected. It instantly upgraded the look of my outdoor space, and several sunny weeks later, the color is holding up beautifully—no fading in sight!
2. Minimal Change in Fabric Texture
One of the biggest wins? The cushions still feel soft. There’s no stiff, crunchy texture like you might expect from fabric paint. They still look and feel like fabric—not like they’ve been dipped in plastic.
