Vegan Charcuterie Board with Easy Dipping Sauces

Fall marks the beginning of the entertaining season in my house. I love to gather with good company and partake in great food. Rather than an elaborate sit-down dinner, I like to keep things casual (and easy!) with Charcuterie Boards.

Charcuterie Boards are traditionally a mix of cured meats, cheese, and nuts, but I love to put a plant-based spin on them! Charcuterie Boards are my go-to appetizer/light meal whenever I entertain. They’re fun to assemble and they’re always a crowd-pleaser. This Vegan Charcuterie Board with Easy Dipping Sauces is ideal for everything from girls-night-in to game day snacking.

No Charcuterie Board is complete without some tasty dipping sauces! Corn starch is a pantry essential and a secret weapon in many of my recipes. It can do everything from thickening sauces to making baked goods fluffier and providing lighter, crispier coatings. I use Argo® Corn Starch instead of flour for thickening sauces and gravies because it’s lump-free and it thickens more effectively in fact it has twice the thickening power of flour. It dissolves quickly and since it’s flavorless, it never alters the taste of my recipes.

What to add to a Vegan Charcuterie Board?

Produce seasonality plays a big part when I create plant-based Charcuterie Boards. When I serve raw veggies, you want them to be as fresh and as tasty as possible. This time of year, golden beets, carrots, bell peppers, figs, and cauliflower are in season. The next step is to decide on dipping sauces that compliment the spread. Finally, I like to fill out the board with fun-to-snack items like dried apricots, banana chips, and nuts. My favorite boards are usually a mix of sweet and salty foods.

Thanks to Argo Corn Starch for sponsoring this post and let’s gather around something great this season!
