With the wrong side facing, pick up and knit 7 sts down right from the neck opening.
Hood:
(Right Side) Row 1: Knit the 7 sts you picked up along the right neck opening. Knit 18. Pick up and knit the 7 sts along the left neck opening. (32 sts)
Row 2: Purl
Row 3: Knit 15, increase 1 stitch twice. Knit to the end of the row. (34 sts)
Row 4: Purl
Row 5: Knit 16, increase 1 stitch twice. Knit to the end of the row. (36 sts)

Row 7: Knit 17, increase 1 stitch- twice. Knit to end of row. (38 sts)
