Why Knitted Easter Eggs Are So Popular
Knitted Easter decorations have become increasingly popular because they combine creativity with sustainability. Unlike plastic decorations, handmade knitted eggs can be reused year after year and become cherished seasonal keepsakes.
Many knitters enjoy making these eggs for:
• Easter basket fillers
• spring decorations
• egg hunts for young children
• classroom or craft projects
• handmade holiday gifts
Because they knit up so quickly, you can easily create a whole collection in different colors and patterns.
Knitted eggs are also a great way to use leftover yarn from other projects. Small scraps of yarn can be transformed into bright, festive decorations that add charm to your Easter celebrations.

KFB- Kfb in knitting means “Knit Front and Back.”
It’s an increase stitch that turns 1 stitch into 2 stitches.
How to do it:
- Knit the stitch normally but don’t slide it off the needle.
- Knit again through the back loop of the same stitch.
- Then slide it off.
You now have one extra stitch.
