Tassel Cowl [knitting pattern]
It may be April, but most days are still pretty chilly. This cowl is perfect to wear over sweaters and it’s less bulky than a scarf.
Pattern
Yarn: Lion Brand Landscapes in Tropics
Needles: Size US 7 knitting needles
Cast on 78 stitches. Work in K2 P ribbing until piece measures 10 inches. Bind off.
[Sew the side seam using a yarn needle] |
[To make the tassel cut 3 pieces of yarn that measure 8 inches each] |
[Insert a crochet hook through the bottom of the cowl. Hook the strands of yarn] |
[Pull the strands through, making a loop] |
[Put the ends of the ends through the loop, pull tightly] |
[Repeat all around the cowl] |
