Halloween Cat Ear Headband [knitting pattern]

I absolutely love Fall and one of the things that makes it so great is Halloween! I’m starting the Halloween DIYs early this year to give you guys plenty of time to make anything that should strike your fancy. I have a ton of costume and home decor DIYs planned and for this first time, I’m including Halloween knitting patterns into the mix!    The first project I’m sharing with you is this Cat Ear Headband knitting pattern. I think it’s a fun take on the traditional faux fur kind. It’s great for a low maintenance Halloween costume and it’s comfortable enough to wear all day (perfect if you’re dressing up for school or work). Best of all, this pattern is beginner friendly! If you can do a knit stitch and decrease, you got this one in the bag!
Supplies needed:
Size 8 straight knitting needles
Yarn needle
Headband
Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice in Black
Stuffing
Free Knitting Pattern
Ears (make 4)
Cast on 14 sts. Knit rows for 7 rows.
Decrease rows: Knit 2sts together at the end  of each row until you are left with 1 stitch. Bind off.

Turn the headband over and sew the ear on to the headband. This is done by sewing 2 stitches on opposite sides of the headband together.
