Yarn: Premier Puzzle Yarn in Jigsaw (2 skeins) 369 yards needed
Needles: Size US 9 straight knitting needles
Gauge: 15 sts and 30 rows = 4 inches in garter stitch
Note: Hood with attached scarf is worked in one piece with the fold line at the top of the hood and the center back hood seam.
Around the hood section of the pattern, you will notice that the instructions say to slip the first stitch purlwise. Slipping 1 stitch purlwise at the start of a row is mostly about creating a clean, consistent edge and it makes the hood easier to seam.
