Needles: Size US 9, 16 inch circular knitting needles, size US 9 double point needles
Gauge: 10 sts = 2 inches in K1, P1 ribbing
Size: Women’s one size
Abbreviations:
3/3 RC (3 over 3 right cross) = Slip next 3 stitches to cable needle and hold in back, k3, then k3 from cable needle.
M1P (Make 1 purl Increase) = Insert left needle from front to back under strand running between needles and purl strand through the back loop, twisting it to prevent a hole.
Pattern instructions:
Cast on 72 sts. Place marker for beginning of round, being careful not to twist stitches.
Work in K1, P1 ribbing for 9 rounds.
Round 1: *K6, M1P, p3, M1P; repeat from * around—88 sts.
Rounds 2 and 3: *K6, p5; repeat from * around.
Round 4: *3/3 RC, p5; repeat from * around.
