The Best Vegan and Gluten-Free Brownies! Rich, fudge-like and a breeze to make!
These brownies are so good, people won’t even be able to tell they’re vegan! They’re also nut-free and gluten-free!
I’ve been experimenting with gluten-free flours and my favorite by far is this one by King Arthur Flour. It’s measure for measure which makes transforming recipes into gluten-free a breeze!
This recipe calls for puree pumpkin which cuts down on the amount of oil used. The small amount of pumpkin puree does not give these brownies a pumpkin flavor.
Best Vegan and Gluten-Free Brownies
First, combine the flax and water in a bowl and let it sit for 5 minutes. This will act as an egg and bind the ingredients together. Then, add all the other ingredients (besides the chocolate chips) and stir well to combine. Fold in the chocolate chips and bake for 28-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool thoroughly, then slice and enjoy!
