Easy Kids Bunny Slippers Knitting Pattern- fast, easy and perfect for Easter!
These knit bunny slippers would be an adorable addition to a kid’s Easter basket!
They’re knit flat using a combination of garter and rib stitches. 2 strands of yarn are worked together, otherwise this pattern is very straightforward. The ears are knit separately and then sewn on. A fluffy pom pom tail completes the look!
Easy Kids Bunny Slippers Knitting Pattern
Needles: Size US 8 single point
Yarn: #3 weight yarn, 2 complimenting skeins
Gauge: 8 sts= 2 inches in garter stitch
(both strands are used at the same time)
Sizes: Child Small. Child Medium (my son is almost 5 years old and he’s wearing a size small. His shoe size is toddler 12)
Cast on 27 (33) sts.
Knit each row until piece measures 4 (5) inches from the cast-on edge, ending with a WS row.
Work in K1, P1 ribbing until piece measures 6 (7) inches from the cast-on edge, ending with a WS row.
Row 1: K1, K2Tog across row.
Row 2: Purl.
Row 3: K2Tog across row (for larger size, knit the last stitch)
Break yarn, pull through remaining stitches, Pull to tighten.

Fold the piece over and sew the toe seam.
Stop when you reach the garter stitch section. Break yarn and weave in ends.
Sew heel seam.
Make and attach pom pom.
For the ears (make 4):
Using both strands of yarn at the same time, cast on 8 sts.
Work in garter stitch for 8 rows.
Knit 2 sts together at the beginning of each row until 2 sts remain. Bind off. Weave in ends.
Pinch ear together at bottom and sew in place. Sew ears on to the slippers.
