How This Pattern is Constructed
One of the best parts of this pattern is how thoughtfully it’s designed.
Instead of using one technique for everything, it combines methods to keep the project both simple and polished.
The hat is knit in the round on circular needles, creating a smooth, seamless finish
The bunny ears are knit flat on straight needles, making them easy to shape and beginner-friendly
The bow is knit separately and attached, adding a soft, decorative detail
✨ This combination keeps the knitting straightforward while still giving you a professional-looking result.
Beginner-Friendly (Even with Circular Needles)
If you’ve never used circular needles before, this is a great project to try.
The hat itself is knit in the round, but the structure is simple and repetitive—perfect for getting comfortable with circular knitting.
And because the ears are knit flat, you still get that familiar, beginner-friendly experience for part of the project.
