Ingredients

  • 1 Head Cauliflower
  • 2-4 tbsp Olive oil (enough to coat the cauliflower head)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (garnish)

Instructions

  • Turn the cauliflower over. Break or cut off the leaves. Cut the stem down to the base so the cauliflower can sit upright. Be careful not to cut it too short, or the florets will start falling off.
  • Brush (or rub with your hands) olive oil all over the florets. Make sure that the head is entirely covered. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Place the cauliflower on a lined baking sheet. Cover the top and sides of the cauliflower tightly with a piece of tin foil. Bake for 40 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Then, remove the tin foil and bake uncovered for an additional 30 minutes or until browned on the outside and tender in the middle.Remove from oven and garnish with parsley.
