Easy Vegan Protein Waffles
Ditch the protein shake and try these fluffy waffles for breakfast instead!
- 1 cup vanilla almond milk
- 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup vegan protein powder
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
In a small bowl, combine the almond milk and apple cider vinegar. Set aside for a few minutes.
All the all-purpose flour, protein powder, baking soda, sugar and salt to a medium bowl. Whisk together and pour in the almond milk/apple cider vinegar mixture. Stir until combined.
Scoop mixture into greased waffle iron and cook until slightly browned. Top with fresh berries and melted peanut butter.
