Vegan Apple Pie Bread
Now that apple picking season is fully underway I always have a bunch of delicious apples at home. Store bought apple can't compete with the ones picked at a local orchard! I look forward to their delicious, juicy taste every autumn!
Baked goods and apples go hand in hand, so I've been experimenting with some new recipes. I love making fast and easy Vegan Banana Bread, but this time I decided to switch it up and use apples (Macintosh and Gingergold to be exact). The end result was this Vegan Apple Pie Bread that's easy to bake and oh so tasty! It only requires 5 minutes of prep time and everything is mixed in one bowl.
This Vegan Apple Pie Bread is especially amazing when served warm with jam and a spread of vegan butter!

Vegan Chocolate Chip Zucchini Bread

- ½ Cup Vegan Butter room temperature
- ¼ Cup Maple syrup
- ½ Cup Applesauce
- ¼ Cup Organic sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Pure vanilla extract
- 2 Cups all purpose flour
- 2 Teaspoons Baking powder
- 1 Teaspoon Baking soda
- 1 Teaspoon Ground cinnamon
- ½ Teaspoon Nutmeg
- ½ Teaspoon Grated Ginger
- ½ Cup Almond milk
- 2 Large apples peeled and chopped

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl, stir together the vegan butter, maple syrup, applesauce, sugar and vanilla extract.
- Sift in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
- Stir and add in the almond milk. Stir in the chopped apples.
- Spray a bread pan with non-stick spray. Pour batter in and bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool & enjoy!
I just made this and it turned out fanastic! Ihad to make a few changes on the fly. I didn't have regular applesauce so I used a 1/2 cup of unsweetened mango/peach applesauce, and I also ran out of almond milk so I used soy creamer.
Ive been vegan for just under a decade,and this will be a go to for me from now on. Definitely a nice break from vegan banana bread! Thanks so much.
