Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver (#4 worsted weight)
Crochet hook size H
Also needed: white pipe cleaners
Gauge: not necessary for this project
Size: Candy canes measure approximately 5 inches tall
Pattern instructions:
(make 2 for each candy cane- one with the red yarn and one with the white yarn)
Make a chain of 30. Make 2 SC in the second chain from hook. Repeat the rest of the way down. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Finishing:
Take the white and red pieces and twist them together. Twist the candy cane around the pipe cleaner. Cut the pipe cleaner to size. Make a stitch at the top and the bottom of the candy cane to hold the ends in place.
