Bunny Egg Holder Knitting Pattern

Spread the love

Bunny Egg Holder Knitting Pattern- a cute and functional accessory that can be used to hold dyed Easter eggs, chocolate eggs or as a fun decoration for the holiday. Free beginner-friendly knitting pattern.

Bunny Egg Holder Knitting Pattern

The egg holder is made by knitting a small pouch in the shape of a bunny with a round bottom to hold the egg.

The bunny is knit in one piece, from the bottom up in Stockinette Stitch on straight knitting needles. The ears are worked separately. Once finished knitting, the ears are folded over, seamed and stuffed with poly fill. Then a running stitch is added over the decrease stitch around the neck. The eyes and nose are added and then the seam down the back is sewn closed and the bunny’s head is stuffed. Finally, pom pom tail and crochet chain to hold the bottom closed are added.
