Needles: Size US 9 single point knitting needles
Gauge: 14 sts = 4 inches
Sizes: Mens S/M (footbed measures approximately 10 1/2 inches), M/L (footbed measures approximately 11 inches) (in parenthesis)
Pattern instructions:
(make 2)
Cast on 51 (53) sts.
Row 1 (Right side): K25 (26), place marker, K1, place marker, knit across.
Row 2 AND ALL EVEN NUMBERED ROWS THROUGH ROW 32: Knit across, slipping markers.
Row 3: Knit across to marker, slip marker, M1, K1, M1, slip marker, knit across: 53 (55) sts.
Row 5: Knit across to marker, slip marker, M1, K3, M1, slip marker, knit across: 55 (57) sts. Row 7: Knit across to marker, slip marker, M1, K5, M1, slip marker, knit across: 57 (59) sts. Row 9: Knit across to marker, slip marker, M1, K7, M1, slip marker, knit across: 59 (61) sts. Row 11: Knit across to marker, slip marker, M1, K9, M1, slip marker, knit across: 61 (63) sts. Rows 13-21: Knit across, slipping markers.
Row 23: Knit across to marker, slip marker, SSK, K7, K2 tog, slip marker, knit across: 59 (61) sts.
Row 25: Knit across to marker, slip marker, SSK, K5, K2tog, slip marker, knit across: 57 (59) sts.
Row 27: Knit across to marker, slip marker, SSK, K3, K2tog, slip marker, knit across: 55 (57) sts.
