Tips for Knitting Plush Toys
If this is your first time knitting a stuffed animal, here are a few helpful tips.
Use a tight gauge
Knitting toys usually works best with slightly tight stitches so the stuffing doesn’t show through.
Choose soft yarn
Soft yarn makes plush toys extra cuddly and comfortable for babies and children.
Stuff gradually
Adding stuffing slowly while shaping the toy helps create a smooth, even finish.
Take time with assembly
Carefully sewing the pieces together gives the toy a polished look.
With a little patience, the Easy Plush Bear Knitting Pattern comes together beautifully.
