This post, “Weekend Staycation with the Ergobaby Metro Compact City Stroller,” is brought to you by our sponsor, Ergobaby. The opinions expressed below are my own.
This summer has certainly looked different than previous ones! Normally our summers are filled with mini-vacations, outdoor concerts, and trips to crowded, kid-friendly spaces. This year we’re staying close to home and enjoying everything our beautiful town has to offer. Luckily, the Hamptons has plenty of open space and scenic views. Last weekend, we took the Ergobaby Metro Compact City Stroller on our recent staycation to see if it could keep up with our on-the-go lifestyle!
We spent Saturday in Sag Harbor and Sunday in Southampton. We had so much fun playing tourists in our own town! We went for long walks, took a trip to the beach, got takeout lunch, and ate it by the marina. Most of our trips to town are for running errands, so it was a welcome change to go there with no plan in mind!
Weekend Staycation with the Ergobaby Metro Compact City Stroller
I couldn’t believe how lightweight and compact the Ergobaby Metro Stroller is! At just under 15lbs, I can easily lift it with one hand. It takes up hardly any space in my trunk or coat closet. My last stroller weighed a ton and it took up most of my trunk space!
The Ergobaby Metro Stroller opens and closes in a snap and the compact shape makes it perfect for narrow sidewalks.
As soon as I put River in the stroller, he started smiling. He loved his new ride! There’s plush, cushy padding that supports his head, back, bottom, and legs. There’s also an integrated adjustable leg rest so your little one can stretch out for on-the-go naps.
A few of my favorite features are:
The generously-sized canopy was perfect protection from the midday sun.
It pushes smoothly even over grass and uneven terrain.
The roomy storage area underneath the seat is ideal for holding bags and water bottles.
We took the kids to see the boats and the windmill on the Long Warf in Sag Harbor. Sag Harbor is my hometown and I love bringing my kids to all the places I loved as a child!
My 5-year-old loves to push his brother around. The Ergobaby Metro Stroller is small and lightweight enough that even he can maneuver it!
The stroller is usable from 3 months up to 50lbs, which means I can use this for years to come.
After a weekend of using the Ergobaby Metro Stroller, I can honestly say- I love this stroller! The compact and comfortable design is perfect for our on-the-go lifestyle!
