How to Make Essential Oil Rollers
How to Make Essential Oil Rollers- a convenient roller that’s perfect for self-care on the go!
I love essential oil rollers and I keep them in all my bags, my car and in various rooms in the house. They’re easy to make and they can be customized to aid in everything from relaxation to bug bite relief to a memory boost (see recipes below).
Supplies needed:
Roller set (this set was a great buy and it comes with everything- funnel, labels, etc)
What is Fractionated Coconut Oil?
Virgin coconut oil becomes solid and difficult to use and spread at room temperature—especially when the temperature is cold. The process of ‘fractionation’ removes a fraction of the oil, the long-chain-triglycerides. This leaves only the skin-loving medium-chain-triglycerides (MCTs) behind. The result is a clear, liquid form of coconut oil that stays liquid at any temperature.
How to Make Essential Oil Rollers
Fractioned coconut oil is my favorite carrier to use when making essential oil rollers. You can also use Jojoba oil, Grapeseed oil, or Sweet Almond oil.
Add the Fractionated Coconut Oil to the bottle. You don’t want the total amount of liquid to be above the shoulders of the bottle- otherwise, it will spill out when you insert the roller. Make sure you leave room for the essential oil.
Add 12-15 drops of essential oil.
Press the roller ball down firmly. Shake a few times & roll on!
