Easy Bunny Bonnet Knitting Pattern
Easy Bunny Bonnet Knitting Pattern
Easter is fast approaching so naturally, my little guy needed a bunny hat! This bonnet pattern is beginner-friendly and knits up fast. The bonnet is knit flat using the Garter stitch. The ears are knit separately and then sewn on.
This bunny bonnet is perfect for Easter pictures, events and family dinner.

This is what the piece looks like when you are finished knitting. The part where it is binded off will be the back of the head.
Fold the piece over and stitch the binded off sides together.
Pick up and knit the 40 stitches at the bottom of the hat to make a casing for the drawstring. Work 6 rows in Stockinette stitch and then bind off.
Fold the drawstring casing over and stitch down.
Place the ear approximately 2 inches down from the top of the hat. Sew in place. Repeat on other side.
Crochet a chain that’s approximately 16 inches long. Thread through drawstring casing using the yarn needle. Make and attach pom poms.
