Upgrade your basic server wear with this Copper Glasses DIY!
I think it's important to take some time out each day for an afternoon reset. It should come as no surprise that my favorite way to reset is by doing something creative! Working on a creative project makes me feel happy, relaxed and ready to take on the rest of the day.
Warm weather means entertaining so I wanted a quick and stylish way to upgrade plain drinking glass and vases for parties. Since copper is all the rage for home decor, I thought it would be fun to incorporate the trend on glasses.
Copper Glasses DIY
I'm a big fan of presentation and I love little touches that makes everyday life more enjoyable. These Copper Glasses DIY only take a few minutes to make and they can be customized any way you'd like.
This DIY will work on any smooth glass. Make sure the glasses are clean and dry.
For this DIY you'll need Copper Foil Tape with Conductive Adhesive. It's available at Amazon and at home improvement stores. It hold much better than the copper tape found at craft stores. Plus, it's inexpensive. I bought 2 large rolls (1 thin, 1 thick) for under $10.
Measure and cut each section of copper tape as you go.
Press against the glass and section the stripes evenly.
The other way to customize your Copper Glasses DIY is with a hole puncher.
I measured the length I needed to wrap around the glass and then I created heart cut-outs using a hole puncher.
Press the tape on to the glass and repeat as desired.
