No Heat Beach Waves

No Heat Beach Waves

I’m all about low maintenance hair in the summer months. I like to give my hair regular breaks from heat styling so it doesn’t get too damaged. As an alternative to my large barrel curling iron, I’ve been doing no-heat waves. I know they’re a ton of no-heat wave tutorials floating around Pinterest, but this is the method I found that works best for thick hair.
This no-heat beach waves tutorial leaves your hair full of volume, with a loose wave. I discovered this ECRU New York Dry Texture Spray recently and it’s great for defining the waves to give them that piece-y look. This spray really does mimics a day at the beach!
I leave this style in overnight and in the morning I wake up with soft waves. No curling iron necessary!
