Turmeric has been all rage lately in the wellness community. It’s health benefits are being widely celebrated. Turmeric naturally fights inflammation in the body and can aid with indigestion and upset stomachs. It’s also rich in antioxidants. I decided to jump on the Turmeric bandwagon and give it a try.
I’ve been drinking this Turmeric Tonic Recipe every morning for the past month. The earthy flavor and the zing of ginger is a great pick me up. This is usually the time of year I’m hit with a string of mild/moderate colds and so far…nothing. I don’t know if it’s the antioxidants in the turmeric or just plain luck, but either way, I’ll take it!
