♫ Panda, Panda, Panda ♫ Sorry, I couldn’t help myself =D Making a pair of animal ears is one of the easiest way to DIY a Halloween costume. In the past I’ve done cat and bunny ears so it’s only fitting that I move on to the Panda (this could also be mouse ears) These are really easy to make and the lace inserts make this headband more chic than kiddie.
Cut the giant pipe cleaners into 2 14 inch long pieces. Take one piece and form it into a circle. Take the smaller pipe cleaner and wrap it around, connecting the ends. Leave a long end on the smaller pipe cleaner. This is also used to connect the ear to the headband.
Wrap the smaller pipe cleaner around the top side headband.
Repeat steps to make the other ear.
Place the lace on top of the ear and cut around to make a circle.
Sew the lace on the pipe cleaner is a horizontal motion. Note- you’re sewing through the back part of the ear. The pipe cleaner is really dense so the stitch won’t pull out.
