Toddler Candy Corn Hat Knitting Pattern- a fun, tri-color hat for fall!

Nothing says “Halloween” like candy corn! This rolled brim hat is really easy to knit and the candy corn colors are perfect for Fall. PS- There’s even a little point at the top of the hat to mimic the shape of the candy =)

Size: 1-2 years
Needles: Size US 8, 16 inch circular 
Size 8 Double Pointed
Yarn: Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice in Terracotta (1 skein) , Mustard (1 skein) and White (1 skein)

Toddler Candy Corn Hat Knitting Pattern

With the yellow yarn and circular needles, cast on 64 sts. Work in Garter Stitch for 3 inches. Switch to the orange yarn at the start of the row and knit another 3 inches.

Decrease rows: Switch to white yarn. Knit 6 sts, Knit 2 together repeat to the end of the round.Round 2- Knit all stitches
Round 3- Knit 5 sts, Knit 2 together repeat to the end of the round
Round 4- Knit all stitches

Round 5- Knit directly on to 3 double pointed needles. Needle 1: Knit 4 sts, Knit 2 together repeat once. Needle 2: Knit 4 sts, Knit 2 together repeat twice. Needle 3:Knit 4 sts, Knit 2 together repeat once

Round 6- Knit all stitches

Round 7- Knit 3 sts, Knit 2 together repeat to the end of the round
Round 8- Knit all stitches
Round 9- Knit 2 sts, Knit 2 together repeat to the end of the round
Round 10- Knit all stitches
Round 11- Knit 1 sts, Knit 2 together repeat to the end of the round
Round 12- Knit all stitches
Round 13- Knit 2 together repeat to the end of the round (8 sts)

[Hat has a point at top to mimic a candy corn] Knit in the round until the point measures 1 1 1/2 inches. Cut yarn, thread through remaining stitches and pull to close. Make a knot and weave in ends.
