DIY Fan Drop Necklace

Bold necklaces paired with sun dresses is one of my favorite summer combinations. These stones have a raw, irregular shapes and a beautiful iridescent finish. I think the fan shape is pretty because you get a clear view of each individual stone. This necklace is easy to make and it only takes about 20 minutes. Give it a try- you’ll be surprised at how often you reach for it!
Luster stone nuggets
Bead stringing wire
Seed beads in various colors (I used pink, lilac, light blue and cobalt blue)
Necklace closure

Cut the bead stringing wire to 24 inches. Knot the necklace closure on the end.
String on 2 1/2 inches of seed beads.
String on 2 inches of lilac beads, then 2 inches of light blue.
String on the nugget and then 5 blue seed beads.
String on another nugget and repeat.
Repeat the process until you have 9 nuggets.
String on the light blue, lilac and pink seed beads
Finally, knot on the other end of the necklace closure

Thank you. It does look good. Sadly I no longer enjoy wearing seed beads so I may try a slightly different version.
