DIY Painted Vase Filler Stones

I love using vase fillers to decorate. They’re great in a candle dish or a flower pot saucer or even on their own in a pretty bowl. I wanted to add some color and dimension to these river rocks so I painted a metallic band around the center and did the ends in complimenting colors. This DIY is as easy as they come!
River Rocks
Painter’s Tape
Gold metallic paint
Paint brush
Assorted acrylic paint

DIY Painted Vase Filler StonesCut stripes out of the tape and wrap them around the center on the stones.

Paint the center metallic gold. You’ll need a few coats to get good coverage.
