DIY Baby Month Sign

June 22, 2015

I can’t believe my little bean is already 1 month old! I decided to commemorate this special occasion by making a painted wood sign as a photo prop. Each month I will repaint the sign and take a new picture. I think this is a really cute way to track his growth and I can’t wait to show it to him when he’s older!
Wood plaque
Black and white paint

[Paint the center of the plaque black and let dry]
[Using a thin coat of paint and a small brush, paint the letters. You can use a pencil first to sketch the letters in to make sure the placement is correct]
[Let dry and go over the letters again with another coat of paint. Next month, just paint over with black and start again!]
