diy woven leather cuff bracelet

August 1, 2012

This woven leather cuff is easy to make and takes less than an hour. Ribbon could also be used in place of the leather.
  • Blank cuff bracelets (I bought mine here)
  • Leather/suede (I used scraps left over from thrifted clothing)
  • Scissors
  • Craft glue

[Cut the leather into long strips. Mine varied in size from 1/4- 3/8 inches. Glue the end to the inside of the cuff]
[Glue the end of the leather to the beginning. Cut off the excess length]
[Repeat until you have 5 evenly spaced loops. Let the glue dry]
[Once the glue is dried, feed the leather through horizontally in an over-under motion. You might want to use a blunt object, like the ends of the scissors to pull the leather under the loops]
[Repeat with the next strip, except this time do an over-under motion. Alternate each strip]
[Cut out 2 rectangles the width of your cuff and glue them over the ends of the strips]
[Wear & enjoy!]
