My 5 Minute Spring Makeup Routine

My 5 Minute Spring Makeup Routine

Most mornings I’m in a hurry to get ready, so spending 20 minutes doing makeup isn’t realistic…especially with a toddler pulling on your legs! I’m happy to say that I’ve got my morning makeup routine down to 5 minutes. I switched up some things for Spring, like trading foundation for BB Cream and matte lipstick for something with a slight sheen. I like to keep my everyday makeup simple in the warmer months and focus on clean skin and neutral colors.

I’m going to share my favorite everyday Spring products as well as an essential set of brushes that I absolutely love. Come get ready with me!

When it comes to makeup, the right tools are just as important as the products! My go-to set of brushes is from Vanity Planet. This collection really is great! It contains 15
high quality, synthetic bristle brushes with wood handles. They come in a vegan leather rolled case which is perfect for keeping everything organized (my goal in life!) Vanity Planet is hooking you guys up with a great deal: The Makeup Brush Palette is currently 70% off!

First I apply the concealer in a triangle shape under my eyes using the Concealer Brush. Then I dab it on the inner corners of my eyes and around the corners of my nose.

I like to keep things light in the Spring so during the day I stick with concealer and a BB cream. I use the Liquid Foundation Brush to apply the BB cream. The brush gives more even coverage than my fingers.

Next I use the Crease Shader Brush to apply matte taupe brown eyeshadow to the crease.

I then apply a matte almond shadow using the Precision Concealer Brush under the brow bone.

Next I apply a light swipe of blush with the Flat Top Stippling Brush.

Then I just give it a finishing brush with the Powder/Blush Brush to make sure everything is well blended.

Finally, I finish off with a coat of Lip Protector in a few shades darker than my natural lip color.
