Jumbo Stripe Scarf [Knitting Pattern]

September 9, 2016
Jumbo Stripe Scarf [Knitting Pattern}
I bought these size 35 knitting needles last winter and I absolutely love them! Every projects knits up so thick and lush, not to mention fast! I decided to do a simple Stockinette stitch to show off the great color and texture. This scarf will definitely be a staple when the cooler weather hits.

Yarn:
Paton Cobbles Teal (1 skein)
Paton Cobbles Moon Rock (1 skein)
Loops & Thread Chunky Stone Washed (1 skein)
Size 35 straight knitting needles
Free Knitting Pattern:
Cast on 18 sts with the teal color. Work in Stockinette stitch (knit one side, Purl the other) until piece measures 12 inches. On a Knit side, switch to Stone Washed and continue in pattern for another 12 inches. On a Knit side, switch to Teal and work in pattern for another 25 inches. On a Knit side, switch to Moon Rock and continue in pattern for another 20 inches. Bind off.

    This is beautiful! How do you keep the edges from curling when working in stockinette?

      Hi Jennifer! The weight and thickness of the yarn prevents the edges from curling.
