Leftover yarn infinity scarf [knitting pattern]

August 12, 2014

Anyone who knits a lot is bound to have a bin overflowing with leftover yarn- mine is getting crazy! I came up with this pattern as a way to use those balls of yarn that are too small for soli colored clothing/accessories.
Pattern-
Size 8 needles
Use yarns that are similar in weight
Cast on 50 stitches. Work in stockinette stitch adding new colors of yarn as needed. When the piece measures 78 inches long, bind off. Sew the scarf together at the ends, the fold in half lengthwise- wrong sides together and sew seam closed.

Suggestion: use a circular needle and eliminate the long seam for a nicer look.
