diy easy holiday ornaments

December 2, 2012
[clockwise from top: Anthropologie, West Elm, West Elm, West Elm, Neiman Marcus, Pottery Barn]

These ornaments are really easy to make and most can be accomplished in 1 or 2 steps.  Here are some tips to help you along:

  • Use a hole puncher after spraying the leaves with metallic paint. This will create a hole for ribbon without tearing the leaf
  • The burgundy snowflake ornament can be cut out of the pattern I made here
  •  Hand sewing is your best option for attaching the felt flowers to the jute, but craft glue work work too.
