diy metallic jeans

October 20, 2012

Metallic jeans are popping up everywhere this season. No need to run out and buy a pair- you can make your own using bleach and fabric spray. I used Simply Spray Stencil Paint in Silver Glimmer.

[You’ll need a pair of old, dark blue jeans]
[Place jeans in the bathtub. Pour bleach over them. Wait a few minutes, flip the jeans over and repeat. Be sure to wear gloves!]
[Wash and dry the jeans]
[Spray a light coating of the fabric paint all over the jeans. Let dry and wash again]
[From basic blue to marvelously metallic!]
